The new report highlights the stark reality, in 16 countries, children experience over a month of extreme heat each year, compared to just a few days six decades ago. The consequences are dire, from increased risks of stillbirths to low birth weight, compelling UNICEF to urge governments to curb carbon emissions and protect the youngest and most vulnerable from this crisis at all costs.
