The Africa CDC is on a mission to get 10 million mpox vaccine doses to the people who need them by 2025. But in the DRC, vaccine availability is so limited that it’s throwing a wrench into the national vaccination plan. Dr. Justin B. Eyong from MSF points out that this shortage is leaving thousands, especially kids under 15, dangerously unprotected. The situation is critical and we need to step up our game. Every effort must be made to get these vaccines to the folks who need them, both adults and children, before the outbreak gets even worse.
